About

I prefer a battale of wits, but people now-a-days are UNARMED

Edit: Old but Gold. I am currently pursuing my Bachelors in Technology in Computer Science Engineering from Indian Institute of Information Technology, Vadodara. I am an Android Developer and a Deep Learner, having ample of experience with Java and Python. I am an Open Source Enthusiast and I am currently contributing upsream to various open source projects and organisations. Working for various open source projects and organisations, the past 1 year has helped me a lot to gain proficiency with Git and Github.

Experience

President @ Cerebro 2018

The Technical Committee of Indian Institute of Information Technology, Vadodara (IIIT Vadodara) hosted its very first Technical Fest, Cerebro in March 2018. With participation of over 300 people in various events held over the two days, my team and I were delighted with the success of this fest. We all learned a lot about Team Work. We all had a great time and it was overall a great experience.

Mentor @ Google Code-In

Due to my interests in android and open source I prefer exploring open source android projects for various bugs and possible enhancements. Eventually, I got an invite to mentor the pre-university students from all around the globe in the prestigious Coding Contest of Google Code-In 2017. The most surprising thing I found there was the calibur, which these students possessed. Students of age group 13-17 were evenly arguing, over the technical developments of the projects, with the mentors of age group 21-25. I met many outstanding and brilliant students and had great time taking with fellow geeks over stupid yet Innovative Ideas.

Android Monk

Android Monk was a two day workshop, which mainly focussed on the topics such as Fragments, Constraint Layouts, Recycler Views, Material Design, and Firebase. Android Monk was held by WiseL and for the students of 1st Year batch. I played the role of a volunteer as well as an Instructor there. Was a great learning experiences and it was at this moment that I realised that solving issues for newbies is pretty difficult, as sometimes they find a problem which is new to even the mentors.
